The Ramrod Bar is proud to announce the Mr. Ramrod Contest XVIII. The Mr. Ramrod Contest celebrates 18 years on Saturday and Sunday, October 6 & 7, 2012 at The Ramrod Bar, 1508 NE 4th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33304.

During the event, the ever so popular Pig Dance at the Ramrod returns on Saturday night, October 6, 2012, with some of the hottest menu in our Leather Community attending, as well as the Mr. Ramrod Pool Party at Inn Leather from 12:00PM to 5:00PM on Sunday, October 7, 2012.

The Contest will be held in two parts. Beginning on Saturday evening, we invite you to The Meet and Greet which begins at 9:30PM - Come meet your contestants and judges! Then continuing on Sunday, October 7, the contest begins which will consist of Contestant Interviews (closed to the public) and then the Mr. Ramrod XVIII Contest and Celebration Party beginning at 10:00PM with celebration following the announcement of the winners.

The Ramrod Bar remains the only Leather/Levi bar in the Fort Lauderdale area. Owners, Steve and Zak, have been tireless advocates for the Leather Community since they opened their doors in 1994. The Ramrod continues a monthly Enforced Dress Code Night in the Gauntlet, to create a cologne free, cigar friendly environment for the growing Leather, Fetish and Kink community who desire the company of other like minded individuals and has also become the home bar for The South Florida boys of Leather, The South Florida Bondage Club and the South Florida Minotaurs.

Over their 18 year history, The Ramrod has sponsored two IML Winners: Tony Mills, International Mr. Leather 1998 and Michael Egdes, International Mr. Leather 2005. In addition, two other amazing men have stood on the IML podium: Bill Hoeppner, International Mr. Leather, 2nd Runner Up 2007 and Scott Melton, International Mr. Leather, 2nd Runner Up 2008.
