Sir Jason Pelky

Southeast Leather SIR 2009

Mr. Oklahoma Bear 2005, Jason Pelky has been a member of the leather community for the past 9 years. He was introduced to the lifestyle in Tulsa, OK and became a member of T.U.L.S.A. (Tulsa Uniform Leather Seekers Association) in 2001. Since then, he has worked within the community by volunteering for HIV/AIDS organizations, raising money and mentoring.

Jason also enjoys working with newcomers to the leather lifestyle; whether his role is helping them get in touch with their leather and fetish desires or mentoring them in their discovery. Jason currently has a small family of 8 boys and 3 girls; most of which reside in Oklahoma, but also includes Pennsylvania, Colorado, Washington DC and Florida. He encourages and helps educate people in his own fetishes, which include Sounds, CBT, Electroplay, bondage and his favorite, Flogging. Jason served his community with three titles: Oklahoma Mr. Leather 2002, Mr. Playmor Bear 2004 and Mr. Oklahoma Bear 2005. This gave him an understanding of the importance of the contest system and its ability to make a difference in the community. His experience has led to the pleasure of training those who have chosen to run in other leather competitions. This education stressed the importance of what holding a title means, the service it involves and the ability it allows the title holders to make a difference. To Jason, part of the honor of the title is the trust the community has put in him to make a difference.

In June of 2008 he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida and became involved with the local leather community and the opportunity to express, more deeply, his love of Old Guard values. He currently works at LeatherWerks, one of the country’s largest leather lifestyle providers. He is still an associate member of T.U.L.S.A. and has become an advisor/mentor to the South Florida boys of Leather (SFLboL). Jason looks forward to continuing both his own growth and education in the Florida Leather community as well as reaching out to others to contribute to theirs.
